These photographs are part of the Kim Stargatt collection circa 1870. The photographs are of people living in Wilmington, Delaware at the end of the 19th century. The photographer’s name is Leonard C. Talley. I cleaned and preserved 238 glass plate negatives for Mrs. Stargatt during the winter of 2014. I also scanned the glass plate negatives for digital archiving purposes. The Biggs Museum of American Art exhibited Kim Stargatt’s collection, with work by Ansel Adams, during the summer of 2017.
